We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Warren County, New Jersey. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
