Foundry worker wanted in Owyhee County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Owyhee County, Idaho. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
