Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Nicholas County, West Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Your main tasks: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
