Turning centre operator • Otsego County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Otsego County, New York. You will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
