Natural gas fitter • Columbia County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
