Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely The role involves fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Six days a week, one day off. $11,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
