Brickwork mason wanted in King and Queen County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in King and Queen County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
