We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Wilcox County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
