Immediate opening: fire and safety officer (Abia State)

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State. On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦145,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
