Heavy goods vehicle driver • Pender County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Pender County, North Carolina. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. The role involves operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. You should have: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
