Great opportunity: TIG welder (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
