Argon welder wanted in Kingsbury County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Kingsbury County, South Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Overtime paid at a premium rate.
