Sand plant operator • Gwale, Kano State

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gwale, Kano State. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred.
