Gas meter installer — Glasscock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Glasscock County, Texas. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
