Shakeout operator • Trempealeau County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
