Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Talladega County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
