The role involves cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; install toughened and laminated safety glass; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
