Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in East Lothian

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in East Lothian, Scotland. You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
