Gas metal arc welder wanted in McPherson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in McPherson County, Nebraska. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
