We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Mobile County, Alabama. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
