We are recruiting: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Day-to-day duties: • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
