Great opportunity: we are hiring a smash repairer in Baylor County, Texas. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) The role involves: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections 1+ years on the tools preferred.
