We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Anderson County, Texas. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
