LGV Class 1 driver • Mason County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Mason County, Michigan. The job is at a container freight yard. Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
