We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
