Garment machinist wanted in Ibadan North West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Ibadan North West, Oyo State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
