Fettler wanted in City of Martinsville

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
