Garden maintenance worker wanted in Shetland Islands

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will be based at a private estate garden. On the job you will handle: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Pay around £2,400 per month, based on your experience.
