The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
