Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Valencia County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
