Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day-to-day duties: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
