Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Garrard County, Kentucky. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 6+ years on the tools preferred.
