Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Saratoga County, New York. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. The role involves: • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
