Lift mechanic • Richardson County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Richardson County, Nebraska. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
