Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
