Immediate opening: concrete placer (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Bedford County, Virginia. You will work at an infrastructure site. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day to day you will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors.
