We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in West Northamptonshire, England. The job is in a residential tower block. The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time with occasional weekends.
