Safety officer • DeKalb County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in DeKalb County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site 4+ years on the tools preferred.
