Immediate opening: GMAW welder (West Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Randolph County, West Virginia. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
