Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Highland County, Virginia. The job is at a power plant. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 2+ years on the tools preferred.
