Panel welder wanted in Penobscot County

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Penobscot County, Maine. The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
