We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clayton County, Iowa. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
