Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
