Sheet metal welder wanted in Henry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Henry County, Alabama. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
