Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Henderson County, Illinois. The job is on flat roofs and terraces. The role involves fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Willing to travel between sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
