Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes On a typical shift you will knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer.
