Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Polk County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
