Concrete shuttering carpenter • Posey County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Posey County, Indiana. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing On a typical shift you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
