Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
