Immediate opening: refrigeration installation technician (South Dakota)

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Brule County, South Dakota. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Rotating shifts.
